Career Overview/ Highlight : Jos Buttler IPL 2016 to 2024
In 2015, Jos Buttler was at the forefront of England’s white-ball revolution. The wicketkeeper-batter’s audacious hitting caught Mumbai Indians’ attention and bought him for ₹3.8 crore ahead of the 2016 edition.
After batting in the middle order for two seasons, he moved to the Rajasthan Royals for ₹4.4 crore, and here his career changed forever. Buttler hit five successive fifties in the 2018 season, showing what he is capable of at the top.
In the 2021 season, he hit his maiden IPL hundred. The following season turned out to be a dream season as he won the Orange Cap with 863 runs, which also had four centuries.
As his stocks rose, so did his brand value. The Royals retained him for a whopping ₹10 crore.
